This course introduces students to Earth Systems Science as a series of constantly interacting physical and biological systems. The 7 Frameworks of Earth System Science will focus student inquiry through the interactions between the Earth’s five “spheres”: geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere.
